If you want to do anything on the Casper blockchain, you’ll need some CSPR. It’s the entry point to everything on Casper.
Fortunately, you don’t need to go through an external crypto exchange to get started. Casper offers built-in on-ramp options through both cspr.live and Casper Wallet, allowing you to purchase tokens using your local currency, directly from your wallet.
Here’s how.
Step 1: Visit cspr.live and connect your wallet from the top right corner. You can use Casper Wallet, MetaMask, or a Ledger device. Once connected, your public key (wallet address) will appear.
Step 2: Click “Buy CSPR” from the interface.
Step 3: Enter the amount and currency. You’ll be asked how much CSPR you want to buy, and which currency you’d like to use (such as USD, EUR, or others, depending on the provider).
Step 4: Choose your on-ramp provider. cspr.live supports several fiat on-ramp services. Once you select your preferred one, you’ll be redirected to their platform to complete the transaction.
Step 5: Follow the provider’s instructions. Each provider has its own interface and identity verification process.
After successful payment, CSPR will be deposited directly into the wallet you connected in Step 1.
Step 1: Open Casper Wallet and unlock it. Once you’re inside your wallet dashboard, look for the “Buy” option in the main menu.
Step 2: Select your recipient account and specify your country. This will be the account that receives the CSPR. If you have multiple accounts in your wallet, choose the correct one.
Step 3: Enter the amount you want to purchase and the currency you’ll use.
Step 4: Choose your on-ramp provider. Similar to cspr.live, you’ll be presented with a list of compatible providers. Once selected, you’ll be taken to their website.
Step 5: Each provider will walk you through the final steps, including identity verification, payment method selection (credit card, bank transfer, etc.), and confirmation.
Once the payment is complete, your CSPR tokens will be delivered to your wallet.
