The New CSPR.live: Explore Blockchain Differently

For most blockchain ecosystems, block explorers are the primary way to understand what is happening on the network. But the way explorers traditionally present information has remained stubbornly narrow, built for early adopters who already understand the structures, leaving everyone else to confront dense tables and a level of abstraction that obscures more than it reveals.

With the latest update to CSPR.live, Casper is becoming one of the most clearly observable and easy-to-track networks in the industry. CSPR.live 3.0 is a deliberate, comprehensive reimagining of how users interact with on-chain information.

Breaking the mold, the experience has moved away from the old “explorer spreadsheet” model and into something far more familiar to modern users: a feed-like layout similar to the applications people already understand, from Twitter to Instagram to the countless dashboards they use every day.

So, let’s take a deeper look at what the new CSPR.live brings, and how it may help set a new direction for how blockchain information is presented across the industry.

Unified Activity View

Across nearly all major block explorers, activity is still arranged in fragmented tables, and this structure has barely changed in a decade, forcing users to interpret the chain rather than see it.

With CSPR.live 3.0, the new unified Activity View consolidates all account activity into an uninterrupted feed. Transactions, transfers, token movements, NFT interactions, and contract calls appear as a single continuous sequence, mirroring how activity actually occurs on-chain.

On the right side, the Activity Feed, the centerpiece of the redesign, occupies the main viewpoint. Entries follow a structure that feels familiar and easy to read. It largely speaks for itself: a single card clearly explains the who, what, and when of an on-chain event, in plain, human-readable language.

On the left, we can see the account’s basic information, followed by the Total Balance card. The balance is divided into liquid, staked, and undelegating amounts, supported by a visual bar that shows the fund distribution at a glance.

Instead of three or four tables you must switch between, the account’s history now reads like a coherent timeline. Everything relevant to the activity is visible in one place.

The Complete Picture

Another long-standing limitation of block explorers is their inability to show the full picture of an account involvement. Most explorers offer a very limited picture, showing only the transactions sent by the account, or at best, incoming token transfers in the same view.

However, on a live network, an account can be involved in many ways that go beyond simply sending or receiving tokens. Smart contracts and other users can trigger events that affect your account, yet most of these actions typically remain hidden. CSPR.live 3.0 brings them all to the surface.

The feed displays activity even when your account wasn’t the one that sent the transaction. You can finally see everything that interacts with it, not just what you initiated.

Read the Chain

Being understandable is the path to real adoption in blockchain technology. Most users and most organizations that could benefit from blockchains still keep their distance. Not because the technology lacks potential, but because the tools that show what is happening on a network are still too hard to read.

CSPR.live 3.0 removes that barrier by presenting on-chain data in a form that feels closer to the digital experiences that all users, including those new to Web3, are already accustomed to.

This is made possible by deep integration with the Casper Network provided by CSPR.cloud, the on-chain indexer powering the experience behind the scenes. It allows CSPR.live to correctly identify contracts, accounts, and the actions they perform. Since the same APIs are openly available, the clarity achieved inside the explorer isn’t a standalone feature. It’s an example of the coherence anyone building on the network can take advantage of.

CSPR.live 3.0 represents a breakthrough in simplicity and demonstrates that blockchain becomes obvious when you read it in human terms. On-chain activity should not be reserved for tech experts and math whizzes only. With CSPR.live, we can all explore differently!
